Jaycee Dugard Family Wins $20 Million Settlement

SACRAMENTO, C.A. --

California lawmakers have approved a $20 million settlement with the family of Jaycee Dugard, who was kidnapped as a girl and held captive for 18 years by a paroled sex offender.

Lawmakers approved the settlement Thursday with a 30-1 vote in the Senate and a 62-0 vote in the Assembly.

Jaycee Dugard, who is 30, resurfaced last August with two daughters, fathered by Phillip Garrido. Garrido and his wife, Nancy, have pleaded not guilty to charges that they kidnapped and raped the young woman.

Dugard, her mother and daughters filed a claim saying state corrections officials failed to do their jobs. They claimed psychological, physical and emotional damages.

After being dismissed as a lightweight by Taylor Momsen, Rihanna apparently feels that it's time to talk some smack herself.

"THE PURCHASE"

Four Men Want It, One Women Needs It,

Night Has Arrived, Make No Mistake Horror Has Emerged

This low budget featured film centers around a real estate women anxious to sell a historical property in order to get a huge commission . The woman has 7 days to sell the hotel and row houses to a choice of 4 millionaires interested in the property. Her trip to the property overwhelms her ; she could indeed sell the property.

What was first enthusiasm turns to curiosity; her research discoveries the property has been there since the 1800’s and has been the site of several projects to sell or renovate the property even demolition was considered. The sales women’s eagerness and curiosity as to why the property has not been sold in decades makes her take a visit at night to this eerie and mysterious site, a night she will never forget.

The movie starts with a grand piano playing, with the cast and director listing in the forefront and the chilling night scenes, with chimney smoke overlooking the abandoned property. Then a morning sky scene showing a plane landing at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

EXT. CINCINNATI – DAY ONE

A sunny day. A black shiny Mercedes Benz drives down a quiet remote area. A young enthusiastic real estate agent named Amy Bradshaw sits behind the wheel driving and viewing the uninhabited properties she is about to sell. Amy then pulls over to park on this deserted are, She sits in her car drinking her cappuccino and surfs the internet. Amy casually dressed, makes a call to Tom Reinhart one of four millionaires interested in purchasing the property.

AMY

(Smiling)

Good morning. Tom this is Amy I am here in Cincinnati,

at the property you were interested in purchasing.

TOM

How are you Amy?, I am glad to hear you made it and hope once you view it, we can move forward with the purchase. What is the weather like in Cincinnati?

AMY

(With excitement)

Yes I made it just fine, it was a smooth flight, I have high hopes in moving forward to sell the property, and the weather is just excellent, a sunny, delightful day here. I will soon be checking into the Millennium hotel suite 223 if you need to reach me, should my cell phone somehow becomes unavailable.

TOM

That’s fine, I look forward to speaking with you soon, have a great day.

AMY

Goodbye.

Amy delighted to have spoken to Tom, and eager to go to the hotel and rest, begins to search her cell phone’s GPS for the hotel’s directions. She starts her car, you hear the engine sounding what seems like, a slumber purring cat, she heads down to view the property and continue driving down Vine street where she turns left and heads downtown to the Millennium Hotel. As she drives down Vine Street she is quite dismayed by the large amount of pedestrian’s walking in such a small area.

AMY

(Oh my goodness she ponders)

As Amy is headed down Vine Street she receives a call from Simon Herster who is the second millionaire interested in the Property.

AMY

(Cell phone ringing with the ringtone of Taylor Swift), she answers hello Simon, how are you, I just arrived here in Cincinnati, I am headed to check in to the Millennium Hotel. I will call you when I settle in, to give you the particulars of the property.
