Tyra Banks has told People.com that her "Tyra Show" talk show will end in the spring of 2010 -- leaving room for Tyra to focus on Bankable Studios, her movie production studio.
"This will be the last season of The Tyra Show," Banks wrote in a letter to fans.
Tyra's Bankable Studios -- following in the footsteps of Oprah's Harpo Studios and Tyler Perry Studios -- will focus on making films about positive black women, perhaps inspired by her mentor Oprah's success at backing recent black films like Precious and the upcoming "Will You Be My Black Friend?" with Chris Rock.
Ending after 5 years, the Tyra Show has seen a myriad of variations and buzz, from Tyra moving the talk show from Los Angeles to New York.
The Tyra Show has drawn legions of fans who watched the young host tell her fat-critics to "kiss her fat" behind, and later soaked up tips on how she lost weight, and were enthralled as she dramatically unveiled her real hair without a weave.
